Setting Up Your Chromebook (Enrollment & Reset Guide)

Part 1: Wipe / Factory Reset (Only if the device was already signed into)

Note: Back up any files in your local Downloads folder to Google Drive before resetting.

1. On the main sign-in screen, press Ctrl + Alt + Shift + R

   

2. Click Powerwash, then click Continue to begin the Powerwash/Factory Reset.

   

Part 2: Enrollment

1. Turn on your Chromebook and click Get Started.

   

2. Connect to your Wi-Fi network, and then click Accept and Continue.

   

3. On the "Who's using this Chromebook?" screen, do not select anything. Press Ctrl + Alt + E.

   

4. Enter the student’s @mylcusd.net email address and their password on the Enterprise Enrollment screen.

   

5. Look for "Chromebook managed by lcusd.net" at the bottom of the sign-in screen to confirm successful enrollment.
